For the faithful who feel behind
Never good enough for God?
Let's look at what He actually said.
You confess. You promise to do better. You replay the one thing you got wrong. And somehow it still feels like He's waiting for more.

Sound familiar?
You're keeping a score.
It was never His score.
- You confess something, promise to do better, then confess it again.
- You hear ten kind words and carry home the one that might have been criticism.
- You wonder if He's pleased with you, and never quite find out.
- You keep doing more, and the feeling of falling short never lifts.
That isn't weak faith. It's what happens when you try to answer one quiet question by doing more: Am I good enough?
In His own words
Here's what He actually said.
No audit. No second round.
“Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28 (NLT)
Then He told a story about two men who went to pray. One listed everything he had done right. The other stood at a distance and said one sentence:
“O God, be merciful to me, for I am a sinner.” Luke 18:13 (NLT)
Then Jesus said which of them went home right with God:
“I tell you, this sinner, not the Pharisee, returned home justified before God.” Luke 18:14 (NLT)
Justified means made right with God. The man with the list didn't get there. The man with one honest sentence did. He didn't go back for a second round. He went home.
Your first step
Day 1 is free.
And it's not a new requirement.
Day 1 starts a 20-day guide called What Does Jesus See in You? Each day takes about ten minutes and walks through His own words, so you can stop wondering what He's waiting on. Day 1 comes to your inbox today. There's no pressure to finish the rest.
Not a new requirement. Not a checklist completed. Just, now I know.
“I get it now. I am enough. I've stopped yelling out of frustration, stopped white-knuckling my way through each day. There's still room to grow, but now it's because I choose to, not because I feel forced to.” Jenn D.
Shared with permission. One person's experience, not a guaranteed outcome.
